I mean I do have a choice right? I would prefer Paco, who puts in an honest days work over Billy-Jo-Bob, who wants a smoke break every hour, takes twice as long and complains throughout the day. Not to mention, he wants twice the pay!....For crying out loud!!!

I'm white and I am a manager at a drug store and in my opinion, immigrants work way harder and want way more hours than the other white people. They all make the same wage (which is minimum), but they don't complain about it like everyone else! |

well, if hes being hired to pick strawberries or stack boxes, im sure you pick the stronger, faster, cheaper worker. But if youre looking for someone to do something that requires a basic understanding of math or english, then id probably go with the white guy. |

There are alot of hard working whites. Who the **** do you think built this country? We've invented things to allow us to be more comfortable in life. Alot of Americans work minimum wage, so don't even go there. America is alot more expensive to live then someone living in Mexico, so of course we need to make more money. |

You can hire anyone you want to as long as they are here legally and have a legal social security number.
Pretty soon you are going to have to verify the SS numbers of all of your employees, if the number does not jive with the SS Administration, you will have a set number of days to prove that employee is legal (or fire him), and if you do not comply and he is still in your employ at the end of that time, you are going to be fined $10,000 per day, per illegal alien, for every day any, and all, illegal aliens remain in your employ.

I don't see the point of having to hire two lazy persons who stand around idly while you're not supervising them, when you could just hire one hard worker who will work and doesn't have to be babysat. |

It's not OK to discriminate on the basis of race or national origin. Assuming that any individual native-born American will be a worse worker than any individual immigrants is discriminatory, illegal, and immoral. Discriminating on the basis of the level of pay a person demands is fine, and firing a worker for poor performance is fine. |

Performance is the ONLY metric to be considered when looking through applicants' resumes. That's the appeal of Unions and legal constraints...they reward the lazy. |

No one is debating that people from other countries work hard. Is it OK to hire someone because of that fact? No. It does not matter if you agree with the law or not, this is a matter of LAW, not race. A criminal is still a criminal even if the person is reliable.
As for your comment about getting caught, sir you logic is flawed. A crime is just that, even if you are not caught. to say otherwise would be promoting anarchy. |
