Is it dumb to say that I want to emigrate to USA...?

because of:
1) I like the variety of ways of life there. You can experience many many different ways of life without having to emigrate. Busy city life, laid back country life, etc.
2) I like to live there because new discoveries and inventions are discovered/invented all the time. I just think it's awesome to live in a country where every few months something new is discovered, like breakthrough in technology, or a new type of airplane, whatever.
3) I like to buy stuff online and because the US has the largest economy, naturally companies will cater to it. So if I buy stuff from Amazon/ebay/whatever I can have fast and cheap shipping.
4) I like living in a house, not an apartment. I love having a backyard/garden. It's just so cool.
5) I like the variety of products and choices. If I want to buy something there are many products to choose from because (of reason 3), companies will make products available to the US asap than other countries.
6) There's a higher probability of starting a business *that won't close down in say 3 months* like on ebay because of the huge market there and the fact that I can offer very cheap shipping (after all, it's one huge piece of land so I can give like ground shipping)
I dunno if they are dumb reasons; but these are my 100% TRUE feelings and opinions.

It's really dumb, if only because in English you would be "immigrating to the USA, not "emigrating", which is what you would be doing from your original home country. |
