As a former Cuban citizen I have applied for a special license to visit my relatives in La Havana. However, I wish to take my husband and his family to meet them next time we go, can my husband apply for the same visa as I given that they are his political relatives? what about my in-laws?

yes you can but you cannot do it directly from USA.
you need to travel via canada or mexico.
also if US immigrations sees a cuban stamp in your american passport, you may be in troube when you try to enter usa again. |

As answered when you asked this earlier, you can go but no one else can, not even your husband and certainly not his family. Only immediate family members can go. Relatives by marriage are not regarded as being immediate. |

I don't believe it is legal but you can certainly get around it by flying through another country to get there. |

i dont think it is legal, but i don't the US government cares anymore now that Bush is not in office, just go there trough a third country, mexico is a good one. i don't think cuba cares. |

why do you want to go? you may not be able to come back. you should know cuba does not want united states citizens there. we are forbidden to go. |

it is illegal for us citizens to travael to cuba but u can go through mexico when u get to cuba immagration wont stamp your visa instead they have a spearate paper thry stamp and u give it back befor u leave cuba also u cant exchange us money so carry 1s and 5s
ps the us doesnt want us going to cuba because they feel threatened by cubas comunnist ways (get over it) cubans are actualy really nice and welcoming there |
