I have a friend who went from Canada to Australia to work for a couple years as a nanny and ended up falling in love and getting married while she was there. Very very soon after their honeymoon in Bali she started having issues with her visa and is now living in Indonesia with some of her family, but her husband is still in Australia and it's going to be at LEAST 3-5 months before she can get back into Australia now. Does anyone know if there is any way around this? Is there anything she could possibly do to speed this up? Thanks in advance!

I don't know what you mean by 'she started having issues with her visa'. She either has a spouse visa or she doesn't. Do you mean that she has applied and that it hasn't been granted yet? They invariably take at least 5 or 6 months to be granted if EVERYTHING is in order with heaps of proof as to the genuineness of their relationship and if their interviews have been passed successfully. There is no way to speed the process even if she's pregnant or has some other need for urgency. I'm afraid that she will have to be patient. |

its is a lot better than 3-5 years so she needs to be PATIENT |
