Is it possible to petition my father who has criminal record here in the US?

I am a US citizen, 21 years old. My father is a Filipino citizen (in the Philippines). he used to work in Saipan (US Territory) who committed drug crimes 5 years ago. Is it still possible for me to petition my dad. He was released 3 years ago from US Prison, but now residing in the Philippines.

You can petition him, yes.
You will have serious problems regarding his criminal history and the fact it involved drugs. While some criminal history can be overcome using waivers, many drug convictions mean permanent exclusion.
I would suggest you talk to a reputable immigration attorney before even applying. |
