Jesi, I would refer you to Eph 5:6-12, Col 3:25, 2 Thes 2:10-12, 1 Tim 1:8-10, 1 Tim 6:7-10, 2 Tim 3 (whole chapter)
For those who think that illegals ca come here illegally, and yet be a good part of our society and those that hate the reference of other crimes to prove the point that all lawbreakers are criminals just as bad:
james 2:10,11
2 peter 2:13,14
I decided to write only the verses, so you can look them up and to discourage people who do not want to do that from ignorant disputes and contradictions |

My only question is this... if things became so terrible for you in your home country and you were living a pretty poor life, wouldn't hope that another country would allow you to move and better yourself?
I think God wants us all to live together in harmony, and we simply cannot acheive this. |

Julie, Steal your resources??? Hmmm....Same thing Native American Indians probably claimed as All other immigrants came to KILL and steal from from THeir resources One day. You know, like those Immigrants from Europe, Scotland, Italy. They also were in need to migrate for better opportunity. I guess maybe its a first come first serve.
Yes I SEE its a first come First SERVE!
But steal what from who? They work to eat. I don't get it.
By the way the "Mexicans" which is just easier way of saying (Salvadorians, Ecuadorians, Colombians, Peru-ans, Guatemalans, Panamanians, Bolivians, Chileans, Cubans no wait they become Citizens as soon as they touch land, but you get the idea) Everyone just passes Thu Mexico to get to the USA therefore everyone assumes their all Mexicans. All those countries also wish they can "FIX" their countries. Good luck with that. No matter what they do that will NEVER happen. It will only get worse. |

Boy, they'll try anything! Even attacking your religious convictions. I think we can all see who is "ungodly" sweetie, and it isn't you! |

Doesn't the bible say to obey the laws of the land? Isn't illegal immigration a crime? My dad is a devout Christian and he is against illegal criminals too. |

you keep saying the word "steal" I think you forgot about how you white people got here. did you "steal" the land from the Indians? |

It is not ungodly nor are you a racist. The people calling you a racist are mindlessly throwing epitheths around because they don't like what you have to say and are not interested at all in any kind of intelligent dialogue.
If so many people from other countries, especially countries where democratic elections are held, are so miserable there then perhaps they should work to improve their own homelands rather than coming here illegally and stealing from those of us who have worked hard to build something worth while.
Make no mistake, they are stealing from us. Every time they use a social service they are taking away from a system that they had nothing to do with building up. The law abiding, tax paying citizens are then forced to do without services themselves and still pay for these moochers.
Also, I know legal immigrants and they are just as angry as the people who were born here. The flood of illegals is making a mockery of their efforts to come here legally. |

Jesus said render unto cesar what is Cesars this means follow the laws of the country. Those who are pro illegal are the ungodly ones. You can help illegals as Christ taught by keeping them in their country
Notice the pro illegal side wants to call you racist
Jesus would be against illegal immigration as it is unlawful
You are a good Christian to stand against invasion of our land
Many in my group the minutemen are Christians themselves |

We are all human beings and many Mexicans believe in Christ. You have turned your back on God's children with such sayings of bigotry. All people are our brothers and sisters whether illegal or not. I will prey for you. |

although i am not for illegal immigration, you are wayyyyyyy too stringent on your posting....makes you sound very closed minded for a Christian |

I too am against illegal immigration;
Well Julie to answer you question you are wrong and they are right, if you truly are a Christian you are all brothers under God, and unde his law there are no borders, so yeah you better choose one or the other, its that simple, no ifs or buts. |

I agree. Illegal immigration needs to be stopped.
I would also like to add this: Those coming here may need help. There lives may be miserable where they come from. I truly feel for them. But, they need to stay in their country and work at making things better for themselves, their families and fellow countrymen. I ask did Americans flee the country during the great depression? Did people leave this country in droves? Or did they tough it out and work hard to make things better? This country became as great as it is because people toughed out the hard times and worked hard to make it what it is. Then why can't people who are sneaking in to this country stay home and do the same for their country? If they are trying to help themselves and their country they should take actions that really matter and make a difference. Look where China is now as compared to even 10 years ago. There is no reason that Mexico (or any other country) could not start becoming an economic force of their own. People just need to stop being selfish and do something for the good of the whole in their home countries.
Immigration legally ---- by all means. Sneak in, break our laws -- NOT. |

As a Christian, you probably think everyone should do the right thing and not break laws or tell lies or sponge off other people, so you are right to believe that people breaking our laws should be sent back to their original country.
As a Christian, you know that sneaking across the border is a form of lying.
You are absolutely in the right and it's not a contradiction to want secure borders. |

I doubt Jesus would have joined the border patrol, if that's what you mean. |

In my opinion,I do separate religion from civic duty.As an legal immigrant I have live in the U.S. 30 years and I never cross the law and here I stand by my true principle as an American.I will help my illegal friend get a legal status by working Visa or try to find their relatives to sponsor them.I also will work with the law maker in this country to sponsor the guest microprogram.I will not break the law for my religion or anything else.I see myself as immigrant who makes it and I am grateful every moment I live in this land. |

I do agree with you 100% this is Gods country. The laws are the laws of Gods country.I'm against any one who breaks the law.The illegals are breaking the law and do not intend to obey no matter what. They are the ones who should be deported so help me God and America |

The Lord helps those that help themselves - the Mexicans need to clean up their own country. And it don't mean helping themselves to everything in this country at our expense either!! Being a Christian doesn't mean letting people walk all over you. Remember the Ten Commandments illegals - the one that said Thou Shalt Not Steal. That's what you're doing here to us - stealing.
And ma'am, you better get used to the "racist" tag. They beat that word to death!!! |

I feel exactly the same way you do. This is just a ploy. Ignore it. Entering this country illegally is wrong. So if you are not in favor of it, you are either racist or un-Christian. They have nothing else. Don't let em see you sweat. |

Put your faith to the test. Did God create the borders? Do you believe that Jesus would keep starving children out? Keep in mind that we were not invited into Iraq. Are we illegal aliens? These are not easy questions.

Turn it around. How Godly is it to break a law (or several) to come here and steal services others pay for to the point where services no longer cover the country's own people? What is Godly about deciding that all those waiting to come legally should wait longer while they cut in line?
There are Bible citations on both side if you take them out of context. However, since 'the poor will always be with us', I think it is irresponsible not to take care of our own people first. We can deal with who should properly immigrate in the context of law where criminals and gang types can be screened out. That could also shift the true cost to the employers of education and health care, since they are the only ones who benefit from the cheap labor.
If we can stop illegal immigration, we can look at loosening legal immigration. However, so long as floods of people come illegally, that is an unpopular option. |

Well I'm not sure what God would say or do but you should do what you believe is right and feel good about it.
God teaches us to feed the hungry and poor but he also teaches us to live by laws and has given us commandments to live by.
I for one don't support allowing people to break laws and do harm to others just because they're not as well off. To me that doesn't sound like the Religious or American thing to do. If you want to support the poor and hungry you should make charitable contributions or lobby for changing immigration laws. Trying to justify illegal acts seems like the wrong approach regardless of what religion you are. |

I'd say that the support of "undocumented immigration" (illegal immigration)(trespassing) is by far more unGodly and unChristian.
Moreover, politicians supporting illegal immigration have violated their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and it's laws and should be removed from office. |

No--God had borders lines for his people the Israelites. He did this for protection of his people. And foreigners who were allowed to stay--had to follow the laws of the people. This is throughout the bible. Laws were to be obeyed unless they went against spiritual worship to him-ONLY. Even Jesus said to follow the laws.
If people read and applied the whole book instead of taking a piece that helps their cause the world would be better.
I could go on but the whole book tells it all.
Maybe some think God was wrong and they know better. |

Well ill start by saying that I'm Hispanic American and I'm against Illegal Immigration. My grandparents came from Honduras with a visa and then applied for a citizenship, they had to go back to Honduras to wait and see if the US government would give them their legal documents to come here. Lets just say that they had to wait many years, they had to give all of their savings, and at this time they were leaving in the poorest barrios in Honduras. Now tell me this how is it fair that my grandparents had to do it legally while others are paying Coyotes or Smugglers 5,000 dollars to come to the US. These are people who are coming here ILLEGALLY and no one understands what the word ILLEGAL means. It's breaking the law, It is. Its reality and people just want to assume that all of the good deeds that Illegal Immigrants do here should be considered for amnesty. Nope. Many people do it legally many people also pay taxes. These people have voices and arms and legs to stand up for themselves in their own country and tell their government to help them, im not against my own kind, im against Illegal immigration I don't care if your black purple yellow brown or even pale and if your here illegally I could just assume that you don't care about yourself because your doing this harm to yourself there is a reason why you come here illegally knowing that it is illegal don't play stupid and say why am I being criticized and the government does not grant me legal status because you know in your mind that you have broken the law. |
