my friends dad was born in mexicoand came here and he's being fixed now waiting for his papers and yes he is paying taxes does this mean he is an illegal immigrant and do u think this is right?

If he's "waiting for his papers" I would assume he is legal, since an illegal immigrant cannot get papers...it is often the case that people have to wait for various types of documentation. |

There are no illegal immigrants they should be referred to as questionably documented aliens.
If he is able to apply for a green card then there is some string that allows him to stay in country and work while his documentation is put in order.
Processing immigration documentation is a profitable business and we will need all the people we can get to pay our future Social Security and interest on the national debt. |
