NO, he's not an immigrant, but he is a US CITIZEN. He was BORN here, in Hawaii.
Again, an immigrant cannot run for presidency, whether or not (s)he's a citizen, legal, illegal... etc. |

Yes he is a legal immigrant, but he wasn't born here. I still can't believe that paper hangin' SOB may win the presidency. He's not even supposed to be aloud to run! |

Evidence shows Obama was born in Kenya, which would make him ineligible to be president in USA.
But, nobody really cares, so, nothing will be done about it. And that's a real shame. |

No, he is a legal American citizen. Damn I thought this would be all over on election day. Guess not. If he was an immigrant he would not be able to run for president. (American History 101) If you want to be honest we are all immigrant to this country. It belong to the Native Americans before the Europeans came, but that neither here nor there. |

Although his father is Kenyan, his mother is a U.S citizen - that, along with the fact that he was born in the U.S. makes him a U.S citizen. If he wasnt, he wouldnt be allowed to run for presidency.
Even if he was born in Kenya and not here, the fact that his mother is a U.S. citizen would have allowed him to become naturalized here in the U.S. as a U.S. citizen.
Either way, he's a legitimate U.S. citizen. |

He is not an immigrant. He is a citizen because his mother is a citizen. |

OK, I know I'm about to get a ton of 'thumbs downs' because I'm not a moron, oh well. It's stupid that just because he's black, or he has a weird name, or whatever other irrelivent evidance you guys are basing your false assumption on is making you think that someone (who, since he's running, obviously is American) is an immagrant. So, to answer your question, no. They're just letting a non-american, illegal immagrant run for presidant. Sure. |

If he was an immigrant he wouldn't have been eligible to run for President, because to do so you must be an American citizen. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, therefore he is an American citizen. |

Barack Obama was born at the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawaii,[2] to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a Luo from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Nyanza Province, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, a white American from Wichita, Kansas.[3] His parents met while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where his father was a foreign student.[4] They separated when he was two years old and later divorced.[5] Obama's father returned to Kenya and saw his son only once more before dying in an automobile accident in 1982.[ |
