What do you mean "after all"? You did not listen or read about this bill. It was not supposed to go into effect until july 2010. No one changed the date, only these stupid idiots who do not like our Federal Laws enacted, which Arizona law is!!!! "They want to delay it by all these lawsuits. Obama may try to block it in court but states are still autonomous unless something changed while I wasn't looking.Each state has the right to pass laws without federal interference,especially a law that mirrors federal law.Would like to be there to ask him why he isn't enforcing federal statutes and blocking a state who needs to protect it self from an influx of illegals overrunning it.Could consider it an act of war.

Supreme court could pass an injunction but Arizona still has the right to ignore it.

The state of Arizona will not back down. They've come too far. There are 19 other states drafting legislature similar to Arizonas SB1070.

Pennsylvania state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe introduced legislation last week
modeled on the Arizona law,
said his bill would give "every illegal alien residing in Pennsylvania two options:
Leave immediately or go to jail."

South Carolina state Rep. Eric Bedingfield, a Republican,has sponsored a bill in that state allowing the verification of a person's immigration status
and providing for the
"warrantless arrest of persons suspected of being present in the United States unlawfully."

In Oklahoma, state Rep. Randy Terrill said he and some other lawmakers
still hope to pass a bill similar to Arizona's new law this session and "go beyond it."

I Believe that this will go nationwide before july 29th. I don't think the justice department wants to sue every state. I don't think they can.

And

If the federal government tries to stop Arizona and the other states from enacting their legislation, they will have to contend with ALOT of angry citizens,many of whom are armed to the teeth, and can be very dangerous when provoked.

Believe me when i tell you, the citizens of this nation are NOT going to be pushed much more than they already have ... not by the illegal aliens and their support groups, not by the aclu, not by the federal government ... citizens are at the end of their tolerance ........................................â€¦

19 additional states (so far) are drafting similar laws
and I am more than sure this will go nearly nationwide
before july 29th

We held a meeting in AZ and decided it doesn't make a hill of refried beans what Obama thinks. One way or another we are going to get our law and deport all illegal criminal invaders from Arizona. Obama is supposed to be in Tucson tomorrow to meet with La Raza butt munchers. He will probably make some speech throwing rocks and then promptly fly his stinking behind back to Washington. I wonder if he will have his papers?...not rolling papers..lol
