Americans smuggle guns into Mexico, so now they are armed with US made weapons.
The demand for drugs in the U.S. causes the Mexican Drug Cartels to push and push more drugs into this country.
And now the drug use is migrating towards Mexico.
If it wasn't for US gun smugglers and drug users, we wouldn't have these problems. Are people now going to point the finger at the illegals and say they are ALL drug users?
Are we the ones at fault?

U.S. Drug Habit Migrates to Mexico
The seemingly insatiable U.S. appetite for drugs manifests itself on every level, from local neighborhoods to the halls of power in Washington.
For a long time, the United States' addiction to hard drugs was seen as strictly a domestic problem. Compared to drug demand in the United States, consumption of illegal drugs in Latin America was relatively low. Countries south of the Rio Grande kept mainly to production and distribution—as long as U.S. demand created a market, Latin America would supply. Criminals in Colombia and Mexico, in particular, focused on feeding the beast, making billions of dollars in the process.
But the nature of drug demand in the United States has changed. With the heavy and relatively rapid onset of demand for methamphetamine (meth), a new paradigm has formed. In the past, demand for the drugs coming out of Latin America remained inside the United States. Today demand has begun to spread out from the United States to Mexico, and possibly beyond.
Methamphetamine use has risen dramatically throughout the United States, and in the past few years the horror of meth has hit Mexico too. Drug producing and transit countries throughout Latin America have in recent years also become drug consuming countries, as drug traffickers seek profits at home. New findings show that meth—a drug that was previously little known south of the U.S.-Mexico border—is now not only being massively produced in Mexico but also widely consumed.

Dude, we're a country full of addicts. Not only are Americans the world's largest consumer of illegal drugs but we are also the world's largest consumer of prescription medication. 1 out of every 3 Americans is on some type of prescription ranging from Vicodin to Viagra. The pharmaceutical companies have done a great job in convincing us dumb Americans that we're all sick so they can push their legal drugs on us. You've got it backwards. The drug use in the US and much of the gun violence is the product of Mexico. It is Mexicans who smuggle most of the marijuana and much of the other illegal drugs into the US. And it is Mexicans who steal and smuggle the guns into Mexico. Do not blame the US for "demand" as so much of that demand is created by Mexicans who slip highly addictive drugs into children & teens (e.g. putting drugs into brownies) just so they can get them hooked and make money off them. With drugs, it is possible (and common) for smugglers/sellers to get someone addicted without the victim being aware of what is being done to them. Stop blaming the victims for the victimizers' crimes.
As for the meth, the illegal meth labs in the US are almost exclusively set up and operated by illegal aliens from Mexico, and they have labs in Mexico as well for local consumption and for smuggling into the US and elsewhere. |

Of course not. Think about it for just one second. Guns of all kinds are freely available to all law-abiding US citizens and legal residents. guns of all kinds are ILLEGAL to own (even the possession of a single round of .22lr is!) in Mexico. Now from which country do we get reports of gun battles and dozens dead almost every week? The US or Mexico?

If MXs didn't sell Americans couldn't use, and if Americans didn't use MXs couldn't sell.
Are we at fault, NO. You don't have to sell the product, especially since it's illegal. But it's an easy way to make a lot of cash really fast. If the MXs weren't so willing to make a fast buck however possible they wouldn't be making and selling the drugs. And if they weren't willing to give "free samples" to kids to get them addicted, maybe we wouldn't have so many addicted to their drugs.
