Yes, if any thing it is a sighn that we do not want illegals in the U.S., I do think we need to crack down on employers to stop illegals entering the U.S.. The best thing that could happen is the end of coruption in Mexico, thatwill be the best thing to do to end the illegal immigration problem.

No. I am absolutely humiliated to be an American. Look at the rest of the globe! In all of the Crisis-es in all the land WE build a fence - it is an embarrassment to this nation. But my bet is that the same people who voted for Bush are the same people who are happy about the stupid fence.

No it is stupid, what are we trying to do limit the people that come here for freedom. If I am not mistaken most of us are descendants of immigrants, or of people coming here for a better life. A fence seems to make us no better then the Soviets and what they did in Berlin with the wall. Don't get me wrong I believe that those who come over here illegally should be given a choice, either work on being a citizen and pay taxes or go back. If they want to stay make them pay taxes, or no benefits. Arnold came here legally and now is Governor of Calif. but he paid his taxes and became a citizen. I believe that another choice for illegals should be that if they want to stay they should be made to join the armed forces or a organization like Habitat for Humanity or some other organization the requires them to work for their citizenship. A fence is not an answer. Don't stop the immigrants but stop those who profit from trying to bring them here for profit without any concern for their health.
