i think terrorism is just an excuse,ive been bullied by the police and sent to prison,the way i was treated was appalling,i believe this country is a total police state,and they have been trying for a long time now to bring in laws,that if their psychologists think you are a danger you can be put in a secure mental unit,no charges,no trial,worse than guantanamo,let me out!

Hey, don't get me wrong I know theres a lot of crime out there, but I don't agree with an orwellian state. I think it's just another way of stopping anyone from carrying on with a normal day to day life.

No. Why have you limited the proposal to just minorities and illegal immigrants? Blair is eager to pass this proposal through in much the same way that Bush was eager to pass his recent crushing proposals through: because they ultimately limit the power of you and me - making criminals of anyone who dare stand up for themselves.

Both Blair and Bush are on their way out, and together they've done more damage to civil liberties than anyone who came before them. And they intend to do as much damage as they can before they exit stage left. You need to ask yourself why these two men, at the same time in history, have implemented some of the most sinister acts of Parliament and Congress in decades. If your answer is the aftermath of 9/11 and 7/7 then you're not looking back quite far enough.

There's something going on in the northen hemisphere that goes far beyond any Prime Minister or President of the United States. And it's rotten to the core.
