i dont know what country you are in, im in W.A and it is not so much the hispanic people it is the fact that the law does not punish these people that committ murders and rape regardless of what nationality they are, there is bad in every race the justice system needs to get tougher instead of making excuses that johnny had a bad up bringing or he was on drugs at the time my belief is the saying you do the crime you do the time and some want locking up and the key thrown away as they are evil and know they will get out to do it all again

My daughter is half latina/Hispanic. Her family is from Texas. The automatic assumption by whites is that if you are Latino you are an immigrant. There are millions of Latinas who come from families native to the land the USA won from Mexico.

You are assuming this man was somehow an immigrant? Why?

What if this female was an illegal immigrant from Eastern Europe - there are millions in this country but for some reason white people do not care - and the male was a native Texan?

Well, first of all, what you read doesn't seem to indicate that the rapist was an illegal immigrant, or any immigrant for that matter. So I don't know how you reached that conclusion.

You have shown us no evidence to suggest that illegal immigration has caused an increase in rape. All you have given us is an example of one person, who may or may not have been illegal, who raped someone. Your logic makes absolutely no sense.

Violent crime increases substantially where the border is not fenced and so, where the border is fenced such as at San Diego, previous crime problems almost disappear. However... all fences are not equal, and the type of fence you build is critical. If it is out in the open, it is far easier to monitor than one hidden by buildings. If the fence is electronically 'smart', it isn't penetrated very easily, and if we provide anyone who does penetrate with a prison term, they tend to not try again.

I am against illegality, but I contribute a lot of that hatred exactly to the media and scared people like yourself, that decide with TV and newspaper, and not with their own eyes.
You can't punish all immigrants, because 1 in 200 (or even every second one) is a criminal. You cannot say anything about "illegal immigrants", except only that. They are illegal, and that should be the issue, nothing else. About everything else, you must treat each individual separately...

Some illegal immigrants come for for a better way of life, most get involved with gangs, drugs, and are involved in murders and rapes. The worst thing is, all these crimes could have been stopped if the government did not have a double standard with the laws.
