well my fiance and i are planning to go for k1 and we met last march and we had known each other for just 6 months.what is the best course... k1 or k3.. we want to be together again as soon as possible but we also dont want to risk being denied.. help me plz

There is only one requirement about personal meeting, you have to meet in person within two years prior to filing the petition. So you can file I-129F even the next day after your first meeting.
If you want to be together faster, K1 is better option than K3. For filing K3 you have to file I-130 first, when you have your notice of action (it takes a few weeks to get it), you can file I-129F. |

In order to do a K-3, you must first do an I-130, and in order to do an I-130, you must first be married. It sounds like you need to do the K-1.
Any application can be denied. You just don't pay a fee and get an automatic approval. It's not like buying tickets to a movie.
However, if you submit your application correctly, and there's no fraud involved, there's no reason to believe that your application will be denied. If it is, worry about it at that time. For now, just do your best to provide perfect information and supporting documentation.
