At 17 no lawyer can help you but they will help themselves to your money.Your parents have to be involved as long as you are under 18 |

I appreciate you had no choice but if you try to get citizenship wont it involve your parents being deported as illegals? |

NO you have to apply to be legal NOW BEFORE you turn 18!!!
Once you are 18 you are consider an illegal adult and subject to deportation.
Unfortunately, I dont know how you would do that as I am not an American |

When you get home I want you to smack your father for the situation he forced on you. All you have to do is have a bunch of kids, never get married and live off the their government stipends. You will never have to work again except on your back. Good Luck. |

No, not even marriage can get you citizenship. Your family made a selfish decision which you must now pay the consequences for by going home and applying from there. If you stay illegally, you will never have a life, you will be deported and banned from coming back. |

Sorry this was for aged out legal person not for illegal person. If you are a aged out legal person please check http://dreamactforlegalkids.org/
So i deleted my suggestions
To all those responded to this thread.
1. CIR (comprenhensive immigrantion reform) is for hard core illegals. It is not for legal immigrants. our politicians talk about they support legal immigrants actually they don't. To be eligible for CIR you need to enter this country illegally.
2. We want educated hard working immigrants in our country. Economic recession can be solved by gettting the best and the brightest talents in the world. America has done it for many years and so it has been the major power. however, its not no 1 in technology anymore.
3. Senator Durblin and Chuck grassley is making it tougher to get the best talents in the world. |

There are no waivers.
The only way to become legal is to leave the country before you turn 18 1/2. If you do this, your illegal presence will not be held against you because you are a minor. You can then apply to come back legally without any penalties.
If you chose not to leave by that time, you are choosing as an adult to ignore our immigration laws and can be deported with a 10 year ban on returning when caught.
You had no choice when you were a child, but as an adult, you do. You can chose to do it the right way or remain here illegally
Status cannot be changed if you are here illegally without leaving the country.
Marriage will not help you either. You would still have to leave the country to complete the paperwork. |

There is a waiver you can apply for. You'll need to talk to an immigration attorney, but find a good one most are rip offs. You'll need to show good moral character ie no criminal history, good grades, etc. and you'll have to show going to Mexico would be a legitimate hardship. and you'll need to show you can be a productive citizen ie i've applied for scholarships to_____, or plan to attend a_____, I want to be a _______ when i grow up. |
