The only thing I can think of is a series of walls, you know, like the walls along interstates that are used to keep sound out of adjacent communities?
Build one wall along US border with another parallel wall 100 yards further inland. Have watch towers every so often and patrols.
Openings every so often manned by customs agents would allow for legal traffic between both countries. |

Sticky question these days . I believe that we need to change our foreign policy . I you for one minute think that America has been fair in its dealing with 3rd world countries I feel you are mistaken . How is it that we have acquired all of this wealth ? Honesty and hard work ? How is it that a country as wealthy and powerful America could let our neighbors live in poverty . So we could control and use them to the corporate advantage thats why !! If we were to help develop the Latin American economy their would be no reason for them to leave home ,Latin America is a beautiful place ,its just poor . As for the illegals here now . Heres what I think . 1. Secure the border 2. Enforce stiff fines on employers of illegals 3. Demand Immediate registration of those here as well as their work history . 4. Those who can produce 3 verifiable American references could stay and work towards citizenship . 4. Local enforcement , with a national I.D system , no I.D , no work visa , Bye Bye . Deportation , 3 time deportees prison . Its unreasonable to think we could just deport 15 million illegals . |
