You aren't in the Soviet Union, we don't have check points here. Now they may have a temporary one but that's usually for drunk drivers. |

No. The check points are all closer to the border areas. Once you get that far north, there are no checkpoints. |

There is a Border Patrol checkpoint that is open most of the time when you are coming from California towards phoenix on I-10 and also on I-8 coming from Yuma towards Phoenix. Other than that you should be okay. |

We don't have checkpoints when going from state to state... as long as you are in the U.S you do not need your passport to travel around from state to state... however, I would make sure that you have your Drivers License (proof of Identity) and your Visa that has not expired. In case you do get stopped for something silly like a tail light is out or something. If you can find your passport that would be great, but you don't need it to get around the Country... just as proof of who you are and that you are here legally... |

You can drive from one end of this country to the other, you're not going to find any "checkpoints." This isn't Iraq.
You only have to show papers if you go outside the country, into Canada or Mexico. |

not true drove up last night to vegas and there usually is one right before the hoover although this time i followed the henderson way that comes out right at the main highway 215 i believe it was ive never been actually harrassed that far north ( only texas did they pull me out of both my own vehicle once and a crappy rental trying to intimidate me with many dogs jumping on my rental which was charged for dents where the dogs were jumping ... All i gotta say too much or too little PO-lice is always a recipe for disaster lets fire em all and only rehire honest proven ones is my vote |
