Im a college student about to graduate i havent thought about work with my major until now. I work (illegally) and i pay my full tuition, i dont get financial aid bc im ilegal, i get offered lots of scholarships etc, but i cant apply for them, and thats ok with me.
My worry is that ill never get a legal status in the US.... i havent talked to an expert yet so im not 100% sure , so i thought id try here.
the way i got here when i was 4 years ago was kinda messed up, i used someones elses identity to get here that is I even put my fingerprints in order to get a passport with a different name and get the visa to get into the US. So yeah my fingerprints are saved in the US embassy...
So assuming theres an amnesty which of course is very unlikely or a new law to give legal status to college students...could i still benefit from them or will I go to jail for using someones identity to get here...I use my real name i have been using it since i got here...the only time i used the other name was to get here..
Any insight will be apreciated and if youre mad about my actions, trust me when i say this, i had no choice so im sorry.ty

In a case like yours there is absolutely no chance whatsoever that you'll ever be allowed to legally immigrate to the United States. You've committed both Identity Fraud and Visa Fraud.
The extra bad news for you is that back in your own country, where you illegally obtained the passport using the name of another person, you've committed a crime too. When you get sent back you'll have to answer to the criminal justice system there. |

You do need to go back to your own country and apply to come back legally. It does not matter what your degree is in as your being an illegal alien will not allow you to get a job here.
Amnesty will not be granted as far as giving illegal aliens the right to remain in the near future. Obama knows the majority of Americans do not want this to happen. |
