Yes.
Amnesty will cost 2.6 trillion... deportation will cost 98 billion a year, depending on how it is done. The use of E Verify, and the use of the Real I.D., would cause a massive number of self deportations, but maybe they won't use it. E Verify is in place **for contractors to the Federal Government** but not everyone. If we get E Verify for the Nation, and the Real I.D. in place, that will help a very great deal.
There are very, very good 'deep' covers in this country who are illegal aliens. Those have to go particularly. When that is the focus, that will happen. So amnesty? We have to wait and see.
In the meantime though, MSNBC is very busy playing very ugly tricks on their guests who are there to discuss the law enforcement side of the illegal aliens. A religious organization put up a dialogue on the Arizona Law, and talked about the all the terrible things the law had done to that point. Of course, they didn't seem to know it was not in effect at that point, and had not been enforced. But there the church was accusing the Arizona Law Enforcement of profiling based on race, and enforcing a law that is not yet a law. Fascinating.. but I guess that is the mode of operation. |

Pretty much. Just like The Cap-and-Trade bill had several different names trying to hide it. The conservation of energy act, and others. Interestingly enough the bill has 92 supporters, all of whom happen to be democrats. So much for bi-partisan approval of bills anymore. |
