Isn't it stupid how some people try to defend illegal immigrants...?

By saying things like: "We're all immigrants unless your Native American, so you don't have the right to be saying who belongs here and who doesn't" ?

I'm sorry, but that argument is just stupid and doesn't make any sense.

How can you frame every non-Native American as "immigrants" when the very definition of the word is someone who leaves one country to permanently settle in another. So how do I, someone who was BORN here in the United States, fit into that definition?? I don't. Thus I'm NOT an immigrant.

They really need to form arguments that are valid and make sense if they are willing to defend illegals.

When our ancestors first starting immigrating here there was no country (it was just a continent) and no immigration laws. Therefore no illegal immigration. Later when the United States was formed our ancestor came through Ellis Island, legally.
We get to say who comes and who doesn't because we are a gov of the people, by the people, for the people. The gov gets it's funding from the people. Therefore we have the right because we (legal citizens) are the government.
Last, anyone born in the US to legal US citizens is a natural born citizen and not an immigrant. Claiming we are all immigrants is a lame attempt to justify their BS stance for illegals.

The Constitution says that anyone who enters this country under false pretense or subversive means is an illegal immigrant! This should also include anyone born to an illegal in this country if you ask me. Part of our problem is we look out for everybody except our own, while our country comes apart at the seams!

For crying out loud, don't waste your time Have you read some of the responses? Some of these humps think that "Native" Americans just sprouted out of the soil, or that there was never such a thing as LEGAL immigration. That should tell you the caliber of illegal alien cheerleaders...

As I've already said. First, the US government needs to do a big fence between US/Mexico. And then, make little easier to go to USA and immigrate. Then, they can talk about protecting the border and punishments to these illegal immigrants.

Its hard to extract logic from many arguments, but I see your point and understand your annoyance with their statements.

Personally, I say if someone sneaks across the border and is an "illegal", back they go!

You were born in America but your great great (great...) grandparents weren't. They immigrated here just like people from Mexico. Thus, they were "illegals" at one time just like everyone else except for the Native Americans. What don't you understand?
