America is a soveriegn nation, with its own culture(s), Laws, borders, system of government, and history. Many different peoples live within its borders, & many smaller, less strong nations depend on America to assist them (Puerto Rico) and keep them viable as nations.
America is the worlds breadbox in times of disaster, police force in times of trouble, and the worlds most coveted place to immigrate to. Yet, many of the differing cultures who reside within America still espouse hatred for the nation as a whole.

America the ideal belongs to us as the citizens. We want to believe that we have the power, when sadly we can do little to change anything. And the Government wants it that way. Then we as the American public pass off the American dream to the immigrants. Who in turn come here only to find the dream is much more like a nightmare. So the Ideal also belongs to them. America in a perfect world should belong to the ALL the people with everyone having an equal voice. Unfortunately money often speaks louder than the people.
