K-1 Visa "Police certificate from all places lived since age 16"?

Getting all of my paperwork in order for the K-1 visa.

I am Canadian and have lived in the United States and South Korea.

How does one go about getting police clearance letters? Especially in countries that I no longer live in?

If someone could walk me through this that would be great.
Additional Details
I thought I just had to live in another place for six months? Is that not true? I have to be a resident of another country in order to have to get a police clearance letter?

You have to bring police certificate for the country you have been resident. Where you a resident in South Korea? Be careful, if you stayed there with a visa it doesn't make you a resident.Resident in the States? I don't think so because if you were resident you wouldn't need to apply for a k1 visa.
