Marrying a u.s citizen while on f1 visa?

My girlfriend and I plan on getting married this summer. She is currently over in U.S. on an F1 visa. What steps and forms do we need to take to get her citizenship? Do we need to file any forms BEFORE we get married or do we have to legally be married before any paperwoek can be filed? Also, what forms do we need to make this happen? She does want to work while she is waiting for green card and she does not plan on traveling back to her home country while the paperwork is pending. Thanks

1) Marry her
2) She file for adjustment of status and file for a SSN
3) 3 months after she file it she gets a SSN and she can work
4) 5 months after she gets the SSN, you two will have a green card interview and she will get her green card in the end of it. Bring stuff that show that you live together: a) Apartment lease. b) Bills on both your names. c) pictures from your weddings . d) a letter from your mothers or friends. e) joint bank account is good if you want to
5) 2 years after she gets her green card (few months before it) she will have to file to remove conditions from her green card.
6) now she will get a permanent green card and even if you divorce she keeps the green card
7) 3 years later she gets citizenship after passing a ridiculous test (it takes 5 years if you divorce).

I would think she needs to get her citizenship then bring you over with a K1 visa or K3. She can not bring other relatives or a husband over until she is a citizen herself.
Is she allowed to leave The U.S and come back?? if so she should leave, marry you then come back. When she gets her citizenship then she can start the K3 process.
Do your homework though and read up about it.
