My company policy is no show, no job. You will be terminated unless you have a valid written medical permit to return to work. I just happen to be on a long planned vacation beginning May 1st. I am taking my sister-in-law a LEGAL IMMIGRANT from the Philippines to buy a new car on May 1st. After that we are going shopping all day!!! We are not doing this because we are afraid the economy is going to crash due to the idiotic boycott; we are just showing that true LEGAL AMERICANS can also ban together in protest. PROTEST THE PROTEST!!!

well, seeing as how I'm a full time college student and I dont have a job (i quit cuz I'm going home in 2 weeks) I am not going to be going to work. I would however, go to work if I had a job. I would not support the Hispanics even if they paid me. they are doing a number on this country, and I do not support illegal activity or reckless breaking the law that hurts the US economy. Why should an illegal Mexican get a provisional driver's license, not have to pay taxes, be able to collect social service money, go to the emergency room and cost the hospital a couple thousand dollars in expenses and mooch off of hard working Americans when my hard working dad gets laid off because his job gets outsourced to singapore and he still has to pay taxes and couldn't go to the hospital when he got injured because he doesn't have health insurance anymore? Why did I have to take a driver's license test if I could just claim illiteracy or speak a foreign language and I could get a provisional one?

What rights do illegals who come into this country claim when they broke the law to get here? they are not American Citizens, and they don't want to be. Not all of them want to learn the language, be assimilated into this country, or go through the proper channels to become legal citizens. If Mexico is so great, why did they leave their wonderful land of milk and honey? what is there to be proud of, because I see all of them waving their flag proudly. Do they want to be Americans, or just enjoy and American lifestyle that was hard-won by natives and PAID by natives?
