Mexican Immigration Argument...Need Help?

Hi everyone, I'm writing a essay about mexican immigration and I need something to argue about. I don't want to be against it. What are some good argument points? Thanks

Well there are a lot of good points to argue. First- Outside of the native american indian's, how did all our families get here?? This country was built by immigrants. Secondly, Most immigrants are good hard working people who are just trying to make a better life for their families. Sure you have some bad apples, but I know quite a few bad american apples as well. My next point may not hold up as much as it used to. I am a dairyman and could not afford to pay what the average american joe demanded. Also every white guy/gal i've ever hired outside of family has only lasted a year or so. The work is too demanding and they are too lazy!!! Immigrants come and are happy for a place to live and steady income no matter what it is.
Our country was built by hard working immigrants who wanted a better place to live. That was true back then and it still holds true today!! I would rather employ immigrants anyday!!!

Well, as long as they immigrate LEGALLY, there are a whole host of benefits.

Many Mexican immigrants call our Americans lazy and are racist, sorry, I just no saw you wanted something in favor, I got nothing.

NONE !

Amnesty will be given to 12 million illegals soon, even though 70% of Americans are against any kind of amnesty. So ! if the 12 million aliens bring 3 relatives here it will then become 3+1=4 .. 4x12=48 million getting FREE medical, education ,housing and even social security without working here and you and I will footing the bill. Read about the loophole that will bypass the E-VERY program and give 300,000 jobs to illegals construction workers before any Americans.Newsmax.com is the source.

Do you mean immigration, or ILLEGAL immigration?

hmm...well, specific examples are good to pad out your essay
*we are the 'melting pot' we need different cultures
*we have no right to turn away people who want to be here; this is the land of the free, the land of opportunity
*an increase in demand might help our economy. (probably not, though, because mexicans don't have all that much money...)
*there might be some geniuses who are willing to work hard for America

Since ILLEGALS from Mexico have over run the U.S. -100 times the legal quota-then no Mexicans should be admitted into U.S. even legally...As they say in Chihuahua-"enough is plenty"-of taco bellies.Maybe those Mexicans legal immigrant hopefuls would do something about their compadres who are flooding U.S. illegally, if they are denied legal immigration access to U.S.

they come here to give their family a better life . they work hard in the fields picking and packing fruits and vegetables. they are exposed to many chemicals while doing field work.... anything else let me know

its really funny how people here are so ignorant.

If don't want to be aganist it then state that our founding fathers made this country to free people from the oppresion of other nations and they believed anyone should be allowed to enter to find a better life free of oppresion, and thats why Mexicans should be allowed in.

There's one point

How about one of the HUGE POINTS! They contribute to America in many many ways. They are part of the Hispanic Purchasing Power that's expected to reach $1TRILLION by 2011. Get rid of them, and our economy won't see this huge number.

Hispanic entrepreneurship, buying power on the rise

(CNN) -- If you don't think Hispanics are a major force in the American marketplace, think again.

Hispanic business ownership is growing three times as fast as the national average and Hispanic purchasing power is expected to reach more than $1 trillion by 2011, according to the Census Bureau and other studies.

"The Hispanic consumer market here in the U.S. is actually as big or bigger than the GDP [gross domestic product] of Mexico or Canada," Michael Barrera, CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, told CNN. "We're the second largest economy in North America."

Having more Hispanics, especially Spanish speaking Hispanics helps boost profits for marketing companies....a big plus for U.S. Companies to.

Hispanic advertising to outpace general advertising

"Advertising growth targeting Latinos is expected to outpace the general market over the next several years. Both the television and radio sectors should benefit from increased interest in targeting the demo," said Deana Myers, Kagan media analyst.

According to Kagan Research, Hispanic advertising will reach $5.5 billion by 2010, with a growth curve of 32% for Hispanic cable networks. General broadcast networks will show 12% growth during the same period.
