Well, this is a broad question but I will answer this according to the Mexicans I have met! They are strong, hard working, and respectful people! My husband is the love of my life and he treats me with respect! He and his brothers work very hard! They love and appreciate everything they have!!! My mother in law is a strong and beautiful woman! My friends(Mexican) have educated themselves here in the USA and have given themselves and their families a chance at a great future! Not all illegal immigrants are bad or looking for problems. Illegal immigrants for the most part are doing exactly what we would do if we were in their position...fighting for a chance!!!
Good and bad exists in all races and all cultures! The key is to be tolerant of others even if you don't agree with their opinion and/or lifestyle!

Mexicans illegal vs. legal I like them both as far as people go there is good and bad in all people . The part that I don't like about the illegals is that they are breaking our laws by being here but as a people I still like them |

To be honest with you, I'm Mexican of Spaniard descent and people think I'm white(which I don't like because I'm not white) and I see the different treatments white people give me vs the treatment they give to my friends who look more Mexican, that are legal. There is a lot of racism going around still.
White people see a "Mexican" regardless of the legal status. |

well they are different.their culture is so different from ours.most look at their women as almost property.their children almost always have the highest respect for their parents as they believe in the use of a belt.not all have big families as they see what their mothers went through.most when they get here do use birth control.the men do drink alot but they are mostly all responsible when it comes Monday morning.i have no problem with Mexicans.only the rotten eggs of their society.which all countries have rotten eggs. |

Try putting yourself in their shoes. Wouldn't you do the same thing---leave your country for a better opportunity for your family? That adventurous hard-working ethic is just what America needs. We need to seriously secure the border, and then make everyone legal so they can be more confident in joining unions and helping to raise wages for everyone. Any illegals who came in illegally after that would not be issued scan-able I.D. cards for banking, jobs, or driving. The powers that be want lots of illegals and want them to remain silent, that way their businesses don't have to pay as much in wages. Don't believe Republicans for a moment when they claim to want to make changes related to immigration--they had six years in power in congress and passed nothing. Why? Illegals help to lower the wages for everyone else, which is exactly what their big corporate sponsors want. |

The person gets judged by their demeanor, if they act like an idiot then that is how I will see them, If they act like an upstanding person then that is how they will be treated.
Racism is something that will never be abolished and some cannot see beyond that. I have seen great Mexicans and horrible Mexicans same as any other culture. |

Okay, if no answer will be reported, here is what I think of them: the illegals have given all Mexicans a bad name. Whenever I see one, I automatically assume they're illegal since most of them are. So basically, the illegals have ruined the legals chance in America. That's just my opinion. |

I have friends and family from Mexico, I care for them deeply. But to judge the whole ethnicity on them is not accurate. I don't want illegals or gangs in our country of any race,religion or ethnicity. To disrespect my country and our laws is to disrespect every American personally. |

You won't honesty, here it goes, if there legal thats cool, but there so many illegals out there and they've given all the mexicans a bad name, I have a hispanc uncle, and he's legal, i have respect for him, but i'll tell u straight up, if your illegal, you need to go back to where you come from, If you can't earn an honest way and pay for what you got, bumming off the government, then your nothing in my eyes, if your legal, ill be your friend anyday, im not racist by no means, i just don't want our country going down from the likes of the idiots |

I rather like the folks I know from Mexico.
Given the fact that so many come here knowingly illegal and pull some of the stunts I've seen recently, it becomes harder and harder to enjoy these fine people for who they, for themost part are.
It's my opinion that if you give anyone an inch ...you can pretty well expect they will come back taking a mile. The human condition is that way.
I think the Mexicanos are no different. But as one human bean considering another human bean, it bugs me that what is going on, is going on.
As far as illegal immigration is concerned, I want it to stop. I want them to know I want it stopped and I want them to respect me and mine ...and stop it! |

I am opposed to illegal aliens...where do you think most of them get their fake social security numbers from? I get NOTHING for free, yet I am an American Citizen, I served my country, yet NOTHING is handed to me...(health care, schooling, social services, etc.). It pisses me off that OUR ELECTED officials care more for illegals "rights" than for the rights of the CITIZENS who put them there.
Politicians only care about the big mexican voting bloc and getting on thier good side to keep their positions. |
