Your forgetting one simple fact, they are ILLEGAL! And Mexicans make up the majority. There are ways to get here legally, the rest are criminals! Many of those so-called hard working immigrants are here bilking the system and involved in drugs and other criminal activities...so get your facts straight before you get on their bandwagon.

I think putting Mexicans as being the ones that are taking everyone else's job is not correct because their is other Central American country's immigrating to the United States and not only Mexico.

There are more Mexican Nationals illegally in the United States than any other groups. Where once it was over 85%, it is now over 50%, and the main group that is here and hiding in our society is still, .... Mexican Nationals.

Per the idea that Americans don't do the fields. In California, for example, the illegal aliens in the fields represent some 3%...3% of the poeple harvesting. The rest lady, are...... AMERICANS.

If they come legally they are welcome, if they come illegally they are NOT welcome.

It is racist to allow only Latin people break the law and then turn away those from Asian, African or European countries. With the high unemployment in the USA, it would be stupid to allow illegals to stay here. I work in construction and they don't have any better work ethic than Americans.

Think about this how many central american immigrants actually make it to the U.S. Also most people from El Salvador that came to the U.S. was during the rebel war they had. People had to get out unlike the mexicans that just come when they want. You go to mexico and see a bunch of poverty all over the place. Now go to L.A. and what do you see there? The same thing because they have also taken over and caused more poverty. Also some mexican people just come here thinking that they're going to get a job easy, and when they don't they decide to steal instead of trying to do better.

so, now that labor is even cheaper with Mexican, of course the industry is going to pick cheaper labor,and not even bother with minimum wages..

AMEN! even with Millions of unemployed Americans, we aren't seeing a flock of them seeking the jobs at the farms. Why aren't they cry babies that claimed their job were stolen taking back these jobs......well, maybe because it's just too hard now to leave their cushy jobs for something that's going to make them break a sweat.

I completely agree! Whenever people are trying to find a group to blame for the economy for example, they always say "Mexicans". Not everyone is Mexican though! There are other countries in Meso America too! I agree with you 100%! This whole country is made up of immigrants, whether we like it or not. It's part of history. Some may say that they are illegal too, but they are the ones who are doing jobs that others don't want. They too are human beings and when we are in need of money and a roof over our heads, we tend to find a job. I am sure that if the anti-immigrant groups were to move to another country because the economy went so bad, they would be in the same place as those illegal immigrants today. I think that those groups aren't considering both sides of the story. You are 100% correct!

First of all, no one is taking anyone's job.

Offer a white man begging for money on the street to do a job. He will turn the job down. He would rather do nothing and take handouts.

Offer the same job to a latino and they will take it with no problem.

Anyway, people that consider all of them "Mexican" are too uneducated to know the difference.

i agree it is very ignorant for people to just single out one particular ethnic group to wrongfully blame for the problems our own government has created. and its not just mexicans crossing the mexican border illegally, just the other day they caught several chinese migrants being smuggled across the texas border. people need to to stop directing their anger at the wrong people and direct it at the government officials who have allowed this problem to grow over the past 20 years and have done absolutely nothing to fix the injustices being done to these people and that occur throughout our broken immigration system.

im tired of people saying that they should have come here legally, when in reality it is almost near impossible to come here legally from the countries these illegal immigrants are coming from. unless they come from a country at war with a country we dont like, or have civil wars with in their own countries and can claim asylum then its almost impossible, especially if they dont have any family already here (leaglly) or know any one to sponsor them.

we have a quota on how many people we let in per country, and it seems the supply does not match te demand in respect to how many unskilled workers we need here and how many people want to be in this country.

the illegal immigration will no stop until we adjust these numbers and make it easier for these types of people in, or do something about poverty in these countires. as long as they continue to live in poverty than they will keep on coming.

I hate to break it to everyone but the Mexicans are going back home because there are no jobs here.And people come here illegally from all countries not just Mexico...Ever been to Miami Fl?We need to find a system that works!!!! So all people that want to come here and make money legally can do that without breaking our system.Normally there are more than enough Jobs.
