I'm wondering where you get these figures from. As far as I know there isn't a separate breakdown of the figure by religion, or specifically for Muslims. The national statistics office only publishes a figure for women born outside the UK which is 2.5.

Let's ignore the racist/religious element. Whether it was meant or not it is not that relevant to the answer. Did you know that over the last 10 years the birth rate for couples in Iran has really tumbled (I don't know the current figures) because women want a better life for themselves and they are aware it is attainable in other countries.

I doubt very much if the birth rate difference between immigrants and UK residents with their roots here will last more than 3 generations, especially with mixed marriages.

It isn't the genes or the colour which are particularly worrying. What worries me is things like:

1. people come here with no intention of embracing British life and attitudes
and
2. the British being unwelcoming in a way that forces them to stick to their own and produce centres of foreignness

The only peaceful solution is that we have to get on. Any other idea is warped. However I would like to cut the rate at which people come in down. I would hate to be the crowded Hong Kong of Europe, a populous offshore island, however prosperous.

The major problem is not just the millions of Muslims already in the country (Terry take a reality check if you think there are only 2.7% of them) but the fact that white British are breeding with them.

Religion has caused a massive amount of battles and maybe it is time for another one.

Where is the problem in your question?
In case you are a bid weird and think this is a problem:
In 2001 only 2.7% of the UK population was Muslim. So even if their birth rate is higher, it has only a tiny effect in relation to the rest of the population.

Also, where do your dodgy statistics come from?
Comparing 'British women' with 'Muslim women'???
You know that Muslim is not a nationality and there are as well British women who are Muslim? ---But judging from your dumb question I am sure you did not think about this.
