Your need to dump the boyfriend and move on with your life, just because she is Mexican that doesn't relieve your boyfriend of his responsible of his pending fatherhood. Why would you want to be with someone that is so callous forward his future child. Yes, she can get him for child support. Guess what, honey? That baby is going to be considered an American citizen and it will have all the rights and privileges of any other American. And that baby has the right to be supported by both mom and dad. Just because the baby's mother is an immigrant (illegal or not) that baby will still eat, need diapers, need toys, need clothes, need a doctor, and so on.

The welfare question has nothing to do with this let me tell you why. Say she is on welfare......when your boyfriend is capable of paying support. If the state finds out that she was on welfare when the father should have been paying support......the state can go after to him to get pay back the expenses they covered for her and the baby. So either he can pay the money to the girl now or pay the state back later.

She should be asking him for money. You can't just get someone knocked up and think you have no responsibility. I hope she is calling him day and night.

She may be using him for citizenship but that avenue is no guarantee. Even if she were to leave back to Mexico, daddy still needs to support that child. Whether in Mexico or the US, baby still needs to eat.

Instead of worrying about this woman and why she is asking your boyfriend for money, you may need to stop and ask yourself why you are still with this guy. He is proving to be irresponsible. Sounds like you have bigger problems than this woman. Get a clue, sweetie. He is not a man.

My exhusband cheated on me, most likely more than once, the last time with my best friend (who obviously wasn't). But I couldn't blame it all on her, he knew he was married, he had the ability to say no. While I was still very upset with her-the blame was with him. As for the relationship? There were faults on both sides but when only one person is willing to work on it then the fault lies with the person that won't even try. Don't want to spend the rest of your life wondering if its happening again? Say goodbye and let him be the dad but not your boyfriend and then stand back and watch the stupidity with the next girl.
