this could be said for any man, and any woman, after 6 years!!! you shouldn't get special "revenge benefits" just because they are from some other country. and no, it's too late assuming she has her citizenship or permanent residency card.

You don't know exactly what is going on between them.
"He discovered that she is using him"?... How? How come he didn't see that before married her...or doing the papers for her? Just because maybe now there is no love between them that doesn't mean she used him... she used her than too... he spent 6 years with her... she must of doing something good in their relationship...!
It is not up to us the solve the problem.

Technically, fraud in obtaining citizenship is grounds for revoking citizenship.

As a practical matter, if she stayed married to him for 6 years, he would have a heck of a time proving she intended fraud at the time, instead of just deciding later that she didn't like how he squeezed the toothpaste tube in the middle.

You are. If he married her, it IS too late I'm afraid, for immigration anyway. He might have a chance in a regular lawsuit, but who knows, maybe not, he needs good legal advice first.

This sounds like one of those "marry an American to get a greencard or citizenship" story.

Why did he go to Columbia in the first place?

How is she using him?
Why would he want to report her to immigration?

If he brought her over here illegally he may be in trouble.

It's a little bit too late since she already got her citizenship. I don't know how she managed to not show her true motives in 6 years, but i think there was something more in there that it seems.
I've already known of a few women who come here in the US, on a fiancee visa even, marries the guy to get her greencard and starts making a fuss over everything. Or all of a sudden they just disappear.
I've always told people to trust their instincts when it concerns long distance relationships but some are just blinded by the idea of love, or just plain lust.

i hear that a marriage is only conditional for the first 2 years. Many people dont even get their papers until two years after getting married, because the govt takes so long. He can contact them, but i agree, its probably too late.

Sometimes marriages fail, it seems that when one party obtained citizenship everyone is quick to think it was done to obtain that citizenship... maybe it is just a failed marriage like so many others.. your Dad is hurt and lashing out, that will pass... good luck to him.

It depends on her status, is she a citzen or green card holder and then by what status, the military rule of 3 years or civilian 5 years. If military he can revoke his sponsorship of her.

maybe if he told immigrations how she went about getting her citizens rights, hopefully they can be revoked. that's what happens when people come here they meet an american and use them. lesson learned, don't repeat it. he should do what he can to have here removed from here.
