yes, citizenship for you is not going to depend on your sister.

Like previously stated, you have to wait until your sister gets naturalized (5 years of being a resident) before she can sponsor you.
Also note, that after you get sponsored it may take a long time because brothers and sisters have fourth, and last, preference (See link below). |

Your sister cannot sponsor you for US residency before she becomes a naturalized citizen. Until then, you would have to do it on your own merit. |
