but she is afraid to tell the officer from the airport that she is going to visit me and her daughter who is studying in here too, people say that you are not supposed to tell them that you have any relative when entering to usa, otherwise they will kick you out. Will be any problem with her entering to usa even though they might know that she has her sister and daughter with her I-20 living legally here? Please advise. Thanks for any help.

Visiting a relative on a tourist visa is not an outright reason for an Immigration Officer not to allow your sister entry. It will raise more doubt on her if she will lie.Besides, she will need to fill up a form and she will be required to write an address where she intends to stay while visiting.She will have to lie on that one too because she will be afraid to let them know she will be staying with a relative afterall. |
