My son's i20 is expired one week back and visa about one month back. he still have 20 days work left.suggest?

he should have applied 15 days back for extension. what should i do now. call back and resent after new visa. continue for next 20 days, apply for extension.

Your son's Employment Authorization Document, the EAD card, is the important document, not the I-20 form or the visa. Those two are used to apply for admission.

If your son does not have an EAD card, he should not be working off-campus. If he does have an EAD card, the validity period of the EAD card is what counts. If the card is still valid, he can work. If the EAD card is expired, he cannot work.

You did not say which type of employment he has. Off-campus? On campus? OPT? That's important.
