My wife her K-3 visa interview in a few weeks? Any suggestions based on past immigration offences by her?

My wife lived in the US illegally as a minor, and falsely obtained a visa to the usa later as a adult. We have wrote a letter in regards to this as part of the application. Anybody have any previous experiences going to the interview in a situation like ours. Do we have a chance to get approved, my wife has been out of the us for now 2.5 years. I am not worried about the interview questions my wife has to answer but that fact that they might have already made thier decision before we even go. Comments or suggestions? Thanks

Well, all should be fine eventually. However, if she confessed to falsely obtaining a US visa, then she would almost certainly be ineligible for misrepresentation and fraud, or 6C1. Possibly other things as well, depending on whether she remained in technical status while in the US or not. But, she would be eligible to apply for a waiver of the ineligibility through USCIS. The waiver application will cost $545 to file and take up to 6 months to adjudicate though.
