Here is the TRUTH. Not one positive thing comes out of it. It is one of THE THREE BIGGEST U.S. citizen RIP OFFS, family breakup causing, financially burdening, school destroying PROBLEM in America! PERIOD. Why SHUT THE BOARDER? Simple, this illegal and realize we here in U.S.A. are not like communist countries, we let few in "officially" and have them NATURALIZE because this takes process takes years to adapt to our way of life, NOT YOU AND ME adapting TO THEIR WAY OF LIFE! We would not have to figure out what identities were stolen or what tax revenue should have been collected.

The million or so babies (not the 'anchor' babies) that will have been created from Americans that have fallen in love with a Mexican will not be forced into a single parent situation...assuming they haven't "migrated" already.

I really wracked my brain and can't come up with one positive thing about granting amnesty to illegal aliens, except it would shut up their sympathizers. However, amnesty would be far too high a price to pay for that silence.

Low paying construction jobs? Let me lay a little truth on you right here - construction work has only become low paying since the illegals have started doing it. 10-15 years ago construction workers were very well paid and supported families at a middle class level. Additionally the quality of the workmanship has drastically declined in this area since then.

Can't think of anything positive, still I post a response because I disagree with your 'not cheaper tomatoes' statement...I can decrease the cost of harvesting by employing a machine to do it, but psuedo-slave labor is even cheaper...
The agricultural visa they should be working under is not being used because it requires lodging be provided and the minimum wage allowed is greater than federal minimum wage.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I think Americans should look to VA where they are in some locals giving cops, state patrol - all of them the right to request proof of citizenship during a traffic stop if they are "suspicious" of them being illegal immigrants. They have no true rights here anyway as they are here ILLEGALLY!!!! DEPORT!!! Trust me, amnesty will never come..........Americans are feed up with it all!!!

You will pay a higher price for your tomatoes, higher labor wages raises the cost of production to the farmer. Who in turn passes that cost on to the comsumer in the form of higher prices for his product.

What, you've always dreamed of picking fruit and low paying construction work?

I have never heard of emergency rooms closing because of them, stressing any of those things, or crowding our freeways a very large amount. Stereotyping is wrong buddy, unless if you can back it up with facts.

ESL teaching centers? Most illegal immigrants come from other countries, according to sources from wikipedia.

Still, before you make such outrageous and unjustifiable claims, you need to support them with facts or nobody should have reason to believe you.

It's not the fact that we pay cheaply for the agricultural labor, we've always paid cheaply, but the fact that we have so many more people willing to pick strawberries or other agricultural jobs, due to a boom in illegal immigration in recent years, according to wikipedia.
