Non Alien Registration number?

I am a Canadian with a vacation property in Florida. I understand it is difficult to receive a non alien registra tion number for whatever reason? Can someone give me a reason why please? I plan to stay for more than 90 days. Upon crossing the border from Canada to the U.S I will request a number.

One of the reasons is so hard to get a "non alien registration number" is that there is no such thing. In the U.S., a "non alien" would be a U.S. citizen. In Canada, a "non alien" would be a Canadian. In Bangladesh, a "non alien" would be a Bangladeshi. Get the idea?

You are asking about a made up word that is not used in ordinary immigration nomenclature. Please figure out what you mean and let us know.

I think you might be asking about "non-immigrants," but it's hard to be sure. Before you cross the border, find out what it is you're going to ask for.

What's the purpose of this number you're hoping to get?
