Obama poem help???!!?

This poem for English.
Its about a non conformist. I writing about Obama and what makes him different?

August 4 1961 in the slums of Chicago
A life changing birth
On this day a great and different man was born
One who would impact millions.

Life tough from the beginning
Nothing ever handed to him
Up early for extra classes and volunteering. (Need help with this line)
Going to college parties
Not for fun
But to gain reputation

Underdog at all times
No one expected this
Harvard Law Degree
President of the USA

Captivating millions
With three simple words
Three powerful words
"Yes We Can!"

A different kind of president
One for the hardworking
Not for the luxorious
One to protect rights
Not to exploit them.

Barry Hussein supposedly was born in Hawaii. I couldn't get passed the first line.

It's good but I would switch the last to stanzas and change it to this.

Maybe it's just me but I like to end a poem with a rhyme

What makes Obama different...hmm. Well he's the first president to be elected that wasn't born in the United States! Not really different from other politicians, he lies a lot. Except his beliefs are very marxist/socialist. Which sure you can believe what u want in America, just don't turn America upside down to conform to your ways.

Oh yeah he's an arrogant pig who won the election on the race card. He thinks mainly of himself & is disgusting.

P.S. No proof has been shown that he was born in Hawaii. Don't believe everything you hear. Get some evidence first.

Obama wasn't born in the slums of Chicago. He was born in Hawaii.

Obama was born and raised upper middle class nearly his entire life. He went to a private school in Indonesia. Later Obama was sent to live with his grandparents. They enrolled him in a very expensive, EXCLUSIVE, private school. Upon graduation Obama went to private colleges and a private grad school.

Obama's story is a story of ivy league privilege.

He is the first American president to actually hate the USA, that makes him different. Obama is a far left true believer who is dedicated to turning the USA into a European-style Socialist Welfare state, so that he can save his African-American brothers and sisters from poverty and from White Capitalist Oppression.
