Someone told me that years ago Oklahoma stated a new law kicking out illegal immigrants? Is tha true?

NO! people, I dont mean that it is happening now. I mean something that happened years ago. THAT ALREADY HAPPENED. Does anybody have an idea??

Legal immigrants are not being kicked out. State governments do not have deportation authority for illegal aliens.
The Oklahoma law requires public employers to use a federal system to verify an employee's citizenship. All contractors and subcontractors for public agencies will also have to use the system.
Employers would also be subject to a discrimination lawsuit in Oklahoma if they fired an employee who is a citizen while keeping a worker who is undocumented.
Under the law, transporting or "harboring" an undocumented immigrant is a felony. It also requires anyone older than 14 to provide proof of citizenship before receiving public benefits, except for some emergency services.
According to reports, the Oklahoma economy is improving as thousands of illegal aliens leave the state. |

That's all media hype! They just wanted America to think that they were following along with the immigration crackdown that started in 2007, but the truth is....even Oklahoma needs illegal immigrants to do the really dirty work Okies refuse to do today. |

I don't think that is true. I haven't heard anything about it, and believe me, if there was even an attempt to pass such a thing, the liberal media such as CNN, MSNBC, etc., would have been all over it and stirring up protests. |
