Out of status international student ! need help?

i dropped 1 of my class last Fall semester due to the poor academic record without went to see an adviser. I had transfer to another college and ready to get started this April. But this morning my new school's international adviser said that i was out of status. I was completely shocked since i didn't get any letter from my old college regarding of my status for the past 3 months. In fact, when i was doing my release form, my old college adviser clearly stated that i was maintaining my status. Now i am completely screwed up since there is no time left till my new school start. Any advise about my situation would be really helpful. ( About dropping class, i was completely unawared of the fact that i would lose status)

Contact the international center or an advisor at your new school. They should be able to get you a new I-20 which you can use to correct your status.
