Could someone help me in understanding the procedures for getting passport for my boy. I want to bring my family to Dubai. I am not getting enough information on public forums related to this.

Its pretty straight forward procedure, u need to register birth, take the birth certificate to Passport agency, along with both parents passports and apply for child's passport. Simple as that. (You probably will have to apply for child's visa in UAE's Embassy).

Assume you are in Dubai
You wanna bring your family to join you in DXB with a new born baby
Where is your wife right Now?
She can travel to DXB and claim an Emergency visa upon arrival at Dubai airport for the new born baby provided the baby name is entered in wife's passports.
Government of India issue separate passport for the new born baby
in this case you have to apply for your baby passport back home in India. |
