Clearly a lot. It is "ILLEGAL" immigration. If I support raping someone, would that be okay? It's illegal. I don't get it. It's called ILLEGAL immigration. Supporting this is supporting an illegal act. How can this possibly, using common sense and logic, be okay?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about legal immigration. There are millions of people who become legal citizens the right way. What these people don't seem to understand is that there is a legal way to do it, and an illegal way to do it. Crossing the border and picking up jobs and not paying taxes, how in the hell can a sane person who gives a sh*t about their country support that?

I think they underestimate the problem that overpopulation is going to be in the world. They don't realize the billions of people who are going to come here illegally, and the massive economic destruction, if we don't learn to close our borders.

I dont think at this point anyone supports illegal immigration. I think they support reform and beefing up the border. That's my idea. Why not close the border, completely. AND THEN fix the problem internally. Why in the world would you want to disrupt the already volatile economy by starting mass deportation. How big of a mess would 12,000,000 vacant jobs be for the American economy??

It seems that the government simply turns a blind eye, because it brings in enough revenue into the country. This system is as old as the hills. So, the only reason why you or anyone else is becoming aware of this fact, is for political reasons. Its a tactic to bring this up as an issue and paid through the media in order for the Democratic party to get more votes.

How do I know? My Uncle is a Hispanic politician, on my mom's side of the family. Our ancestors settled here, 450 years ago and our first language is Spanish. So, don't confuse latin people with the people crossing the borders of Mexico, as the territories from Texas all the way to the coast were actually California... and it was called the Mexican territory. So, half the US was Mexico, but your history teachers won't teach you that truth... Its political to hide the truth.

There's nothing wrong with them. They just don't know any better because they don't have to deal with it in the comfort of their lavish, beachfront neighborhoods. Even though they've been indirectly affected by illegal immigration, they don't see it because they haven't been directly affected by it. Either that or they are legal residents sticking up for their race.

I would have supported the underground railroad too. Even though those people looked and sounded different. I think that was illegal too if I'm not mistaken?

"What does slavery have to do with this?" Well, slavery was legal. Helping slaves get across imaginary lines to improve the quality of their life was illegal. The minority of people thought that breaking the law in order to give someone a better life was the right thing to do. Despite the majority feeling that freeing slaves would destroy the economy, and be bad for our country. Some people think black people have messed up America. Most of us consider those people very ignorant, and see the hard path blacks had to take as the cause for our current situation. Someday, we will look back on Spanish Americans the same way.

nothing is wrong with them! Look around and notice all the people doing jobs YOU WOULD NEVER DO, I.E. being dishwashers, busboys, cleaning up crap in public bathrooms, etc. Besides that if you even look in your own family history you will most likely see immigration in the family tree and if it weren't for those people coming here you wouldn't be here today!!

no one said it did. it was an example. how do you know whos uneducated??? or unskilled??? my fatherinlaw came here from Mexico over 16 yrs ago and has been with the same company because he was educated...he did have the skills to do his job just like a lot of people that i know.... prove to me that they are uneducated or unskilled because it sounds like youre just going off of what your were told or taught... not by facts
