Pres. Bush often refers to illegal immigrants as good hearted and hard working folks, but is this really true?

i am sure some are great i know some i like and some i don't but it doesn't matter if they are nice , mean or good workers. the point is WHY SHOULD WE support mexicos corruption and their people ! no one can answer why ? no one is saying hey mexico your laws towards immigrants are cruel never mind their illegal immigrants they are racist to all immigrants . their laws are cruel yet we are expected to take care of a great majority of their people. its crazy. they are not a poor country just selfish!

Yes illegal immigrants are hardworking people. They do the jobs that Americans would not do. How many Americans do you see going out to do domestic work or mowing lawn. These people come into this country to try and make a better living for themselves and their families abroad. You think if they could survive in their own country that they will. The American in this country is the one that hire them to do the work for little or no money because they don't want to pay taxes or benefit for them. Every one is quick to blame illegal immigrant but is American people doing the same thing stealing benefit. committing crimes. Isn't our jail populated by American people doing the same thing that we are blaming illegal immigrant for. Ask yourself how many American people you know that collect welfare check every month because they are too lazy to go out there and get a job. They consider doing domestic work to low for them but what is more low doing a honest day work or collection a check from the government because they are to lazy. If these illegal immigrant was so bad would us American actually leave out most precious cargo (children) to be care and be brought up by them.

Gardening pays well for most gardeners. Many make several hundred dollars a day.

I worked with two illegal men at a catering company in Oklahoma City. They were the hardest working people there. They could speak limited English but they would always help out even in job tasks that were not their own. When we would get back from a catering job they would be the first ones in the truck helping us unload. While the rest of the kitchen staff sat around smoked, these guys would bust their hump to help us out.

He also calls them "poor,honest" people and we KNOW that's a LIE!!!! If they were "honest" they would NOT be sneaking over here ILLEGALLY and STEALING other people's social security numbers!!!!!!

You're being too unfair and intolerant, you should not generalize like that, you're talking about millions of people, what do you think? That inmigrants are not people too, do you think they dont have children, who are also innocent, and who are not guilty of what you're charging among ALL of them? Most of them just come in here looking for a better future for their children, for their families, you dont have a clue of all most of them have to do to get in here, to find a job or a way to support their families. Ok, maybe some of them get in filthy businesses, but do you think that just them form the crap of society? Of course not, there're criminals everywhere, of all races, citizens, residents, illegals, a little bit of everything conform society today. And most of them do the hard jobs American citizens dont want to do, and that's how it works, you like it or not, accept it or not, Inmigrants (legal and illegal ones) have helped this nation to thrive.
It's true, though, that most of them sould have legalized their situation too, but I think that what it should be done with the ones that are already here, push them to get legal, and then dont let more illegals to come, for avoiding precisely more problems like the ones in California and that Arnorld Terminator lol (I prefer not to spell his last name).

Your stupid! Immigrants legal or not CANNOT get SSI because they are not US citizens. Yes there are criminals immigrants who steal, murder, rape, ect...but for the most part immigrants just want to work and earn money!

I do not care if illegal aliens or good hearted hard working folks, I care about the fact that the law is being broken and that our country is suffering for it. I care about the fact that big box corporations are enabling this behavior by hiring illegals to work for next to nothing rather than offering a fair living wage to legal citizens. I also care about the fact that our current administration does not have a viable plan to rectify this.

Hard working, yes (Actually, all immigrants are hard workers, not just the illegal ones). Good Natured, no. If they were good natured, they would do everything legally.
