To answer your question we do need a better deportation system. Unfortunately once illegals get deported, they turn right back around and re-enter the US again. We need better border secuirty, tougher laws against illegals and better system of tracking them.

If you're quite done ranting and raving I'd like to answer your question in a more civilized manner than it was asked. I believe all illegals in our jails and prisons should be deported asap along with all those found to be committing welfare fraud. The legalization process should be revised and made more affordable and the wait shorter. Illegals found to have an upstanding employment record for the past ten years, no criminal record and never having been on gov assistance should either be granted amnesty or entered into a guest worker program. Our welfare screening process needs to be tweeked and updated so as to "discover" fake ss#'s and those trying to apply with one should be deported. Employers hiring and landlords renting to illegals should be fined upon their first offense, lose their business the second, and jailed on their third offense. Now, before any of this can be implemented, our borders must be secured to prevent further crossings after the fact. Now you may or may not agree, I dont believe I care either way but you may want to knock that chip off your shoulder a notch or consider doing something about your bitterness and perhaps you wont have such a negative response all the time. People may not agree with you all the time and your reaction to this appears to be something you need to work on. Have a good day.

As an Appalachian American, I see poverty everyday but where can these poor people illegally immigrate to in order to secure a future for their families?

Question Details: Actually this city does not promote discrimination ... they require "everyone" to comply with the ordinance. It does not matter if you are a blond haired, blue eyed Scandinavian or a dark haired, brown eyed Italian or happen to be of Hispanic origin ... if you are in this country illegally then ordnance applies!
