I recently moved to America to be with my wife, and have finally received my work visa (Yey!) ive put in a couple of applications online i was just wondering if its ok to put my work history from my country (UK) in there, its generally been accepted but im not sure if it will hinder me in any way if they cant call my old jobs for a refrence its the same with my Education i finished high school with all highers. Should i think about just starting over?

You can put your work experience overseas if just to provide of your previous experience for certain jobs.It's up to them now if they really want to call them for reference.Finding a job for the first time for an immigrant is really a challenge.You might consider starting with a job that is somewhat lower than your jobs in UK just to be able to establish a work history here in the US.After that you can start looking for a better paying job.
