Question about the new immigration system (UK)?

I know that the UK is changing its immigration laws, now there's a point based system and there's also a list of occupations in demand. Now my question is: Would someone qualify if they met all the requirements but their occupation is NOT in the list of jobs in demand? Because I used the calculator to see if I qualified but my profession isn't one of the occupations in demand in the UK but it still said that I may qualify? Is that possible? Any advice? Has anyone applied lately?

PLEASE SERIOUS ANSWERS! ( I know that the UK is going through a recession now (like the rest of the world) but trust me I'm not planning to move to the UK (at least for the moment) I'm just curious and want to be informed. Thanks!

So for someone whose occupation is not on the list the only option is Tier 1? what about Tier 2?

If you have 75 points, you qualify under the Tier 1 Highly Skilled visa where your occupation does not need to be on the in-demand list

You would still me able to get the Tier 1 general skilled visa without being on the list.

If you have enough money, you could apply for the Tier 1 entrepreneur or investor.

You get points for degree level, bachelor, masters or Phd

You could offer yourself as part of the Service Industry serving the Home Armed Forces.

As georgies says, we are due for civil unrest like not seen before here.

The Army will be bought home to police the streets and keep the British People down.

Plenty of jobs then

if you qualified but your job was not in demand then you can still apply, but the processing would take a lot longer.

Canada has ths same problem. There is a list of 38 occupations and if you are in one of those jobs, you can be in Canada within 2 years.

If your job is NOT on the list then your processing will take a lot longer - 3 to 6 years and possibly more

Some immigrants are refugees. They have a legal right to enter Britain. Every country has a legal obligation to accept a certain amount of refugees irrespective of their qualifications. That is international law.
Within the EU people have a right to live and work in another member state. It is more difficult these days for that to happen because there is a recession. I'm British but I live in another EU country now.
If you are from another EU country you have no rights to social security within your new country. Any health care you receive will be paid by your own country through a reciprical agreement.

No besides the Conservatives are likely to get in power in the next general election. And they have pledged to decrease immigration by three quarters, so that only 50000 people a year are allowed into the country. If you were to come to Britain you would probably be disappointed, England is not England anymore this country has been wrecked by mass migration, even immigrants think that there are too many bloody immigrants.

Forget the point's system, just come here by any means ,work in one of the jobs us British will not do (tax free) and there will be an amnesty for you in the near future. Why would you want to come here anyhow? This country is heading for civil unrest on a scale that will make previous civil unrest events look like picnic's.
