these are the guidlines for qualifications for a visitors visa
* The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;(pleasure could be seeing his wife?)
* That they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;(90 days at most)
* Evidence of funds to cover expenses in the United States;(already has funds)
* Evidence of compelling social and economic ties abroad;(my husband has family such as mom younger sibilings friends) and
* That they have a residence outside the U.S.(which he does he lives with his mom) as well as other binding ties that will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.( my husband has a strong relationship with his family and has a job in mexico)
my questions are this my grandfather is dieing he has a lung disease that requirs him to be on 24 7 oxygene. docs say he doesnt have much time to live a few months my husband is close to my grandfather and i want my husband here so we can spend some time with him b4 he does die also my husband wants to come here tovisit his other sibilings brother and nieces and nephes. does he have enough proof to show that he will come back and enough to get the visitors visa?

No one here can really answer that question. In the end, he has to satisfy the interviewing officer that he'll return, not us. It's not a math formula where A + B = a tourist visa. Some officers will take a variety of factors into consideration, and some will only see that he's married to you and then won't consider him to be a good risk.It's not impossible and you should make sure to document the grandfather's medical condition. But, based on what you've said here and before, he obviously has strong ties to the US and the interviewing officer will have to consider that as well before deciding whether to issue or not. |
