It's a start.
You left out a lot of the story. Like what tipped off the authorities?
"U.S. immigration officials deported a pregnant Roswell High School senior after she was pulled from class Wednesday by a local police officer regarding a traffic ticket issued days before.
According to Roswell Police Chief John Balderston, Karina Acosta, 18, was given several days to provide proper identification after being cited for a parking violation and driving without a license on Nov. 29 but failed to do so."
"Worried about the deportation of the girl and the future security of other illegal immigrant students at RHS, Acosta's mother and nearly 50 members of the Hispanic community gathered at the RHS Little Theater, and later the Roswell Police Department, to voice their concerns."
If the parents of the illegal alien students are so concerneed that their kids will be deported, they should take the proactive approach and deport themselves. |

Good. Nothing about her being pregnant or in high school excuses her being here illegally. One less anchor baby. |

If she was indeed an illegal immigrant, good. |

Thank God they got her out before she dropped the kid. We would've had to support her then. Her and her entire extended family. All in the name of that kid. Can you say "chain migration", anyone? |

Perfect, we should do that more often! |

Excellent. There is one less anchor baby's hospital bills that the legal citizens to not have to pay for.
Excellent. |

If she was illegal and didn't respect our laws, she needs to be deported. |

It's a shame that illegal women are using their wombs as cheap green card alternatives. Almost like ticking time bombs - once one explodes (gives birth) it destroys yet more of our nation's security and prosperity. Good thing they got this one out before it detonated. |

That is great they took her! Other wise her baby would of been a citizen. Good for immigration!! |

I think it's great that they got her out of the country before she dropped that anchor baby. |

that's good. she is illegally in this country. An she probably stayed here because she wanted her baby to be born in the U.S.A so she can stay here with him seance he would be an American. An seance her baby would be American they would have to give her a green card or citizen ship so she could stay in America with her child. |

You would think that those here illegally would not drive without a license, and while I have some sympathy for her, she was here illegally and deporting her was the right thing to do. For those who challenged the police for their actions including her parent, I wonder why they think that being here illegally is acceptable behavior, I think for to long we have turned a blind eye to those that break our immigration laws, and I say it's about time we did so, like in this very case |

They shouldn't have let her be enrolled in school without a proper visa in the first place. The cop did the right thing taking her home.
A shame all those other kids had to witness it though. |

What part of the story are you selectively leaving out? ICE doesn't go school to school picking up pregnant under-age kids for NO reason. |

Goodness, people! The girl was probably brought here by her parents when she was a baby or young child, and has probably lived here most of her life. What was she supposed to do -- go back to Mexico by herself at the age of 8 once she was old enough to realize her family was here illegally? She probably doesn't even speak Spanish. I'm not saying this is right, I'm just saying it isn't her fault, and it's highly unlkely that a high school kid would get pregnant just to provide her family with an 'anchor baby.' She probably got pregnant for the same reason that other teenagers get pregnant. This poor girl has been in a lose/lose situation as long as she can remember. It's an accident of birth, people. It could have been you or me. |

It's a shame the young lady allowed her self to get pregnant and to come to such an evil country that would treat her like this if I was her I would not come back .
These incidents happen because people seek a better life for themselves and their families I don't blame them for this but they must make this move legal I feel that United States and Mexico should Unite as territory or State hood and Mexicans should go by U.S. Guidelines and Laws as far as working conditions and wages and health and education , and then people would be more satisfied to remain in their own communities. then we Yankees could go south and buy land and move to the beautiful country of Mexico and take it over |

Bad, so sad! Why would anyone do that?
See how disgustingly inhumane people can be! Ugh! It is always about them and their selfishness! |

I think it's great. Deport all the rest of the illegals, regardless of age, and ship the underaged anchor babies out with them. We have enough criminals of our own here in the States-- we don't need to import any more. |
