SICKO - What is wrong with Americans??

This Documentaries from Michael Moore are base on FACTS, sorry but the images are worth more than words and I have seen it with my own eyes and experience it.
I was making good money for a girl of my age till one day I had to go to the hospital, didn't got insurance and hospital bill was as big as a brand new BMW, I almost got broke. I have live in Europe so I can talk about the difference, and I have to say that when it commes to health and homeless Europe is way better. There is no gambling, people are more secure in every way. Everybody can have access to health care and an education. They give financial aid to people who can not work or got fired.

The guy is a hack, and to call any of his work a documentary is a disservice to those that really do make documentaries.

What you have watched is biased. Maybe you should look more into the subject. Get some real facts. A documentary can make spoons look bad. Seriously my class did a project on it and this kid managed to do that.

I'm sorry that you actually thought Michael Moore was a reliable source of information. He has never made a movie that showed anything good about this country. His statements always slant toward the Communist/Socialist agenda and against the US. He said that the health system in Cuba is great too. What he didn't say was that even if you could get in to see a doctor, they wouldn't have anything to treat you with.
His hypocrisy is unbounded. He says he hates Capitalism, but look how he's profited. He constantly complains about how bad it is here, but still lives here and owns considerable amounts of stock in oil companies.
What's sadder, is that you actually give him credence.

Micheal Moore is a total hack. And how about you dont judge the U.S. and why its such a shitty place to live, unless you've lived here. I did not watch the documentary but you have it 1/2 right.

yes there are hospitals in america that will not see people without insurence but they usually see people if it is life or death. there are a lot of low income hospitals though in our defence.

I think its what you make of it. i think the states is a wonderful place to live however i have been there for 21 years of my life and i am ready to go to a place iwth more history. I think its all a matter of what your used to. the grass is alwasy greener on the other side of the fence.

why everyone wants to come over.... well that one confuses me too. america is good but every place has its problems.

Hey you can make money or suffer under it. Its a gamble to be an american. Where else can you win money, we have these game shows that give people thousands of dollars to do no work what so ever. We give people the right to have cars, buy just about anything, ge an education and be something. Plus most people dont see the down side. Who wants to sell a car and show the problems.

You make a good point. But I don't like your question. I think it should say "What is wrong with Corporate America?" and "What is wrong with those that support Corporate America?".

If a Democrat gets elected in the next presidential election, odds are likely that there will be a large push for some kind of Universal Healthcare. It depends on who America will elect. The 2000 and 2004 elections were very closely tied between Republicans and Democrats. Who knows if it will be any different this time...

Conservatives in this country believe that health care should be a commodity only people with means can buy, like a plasma TV or a car. Basically, they believe that if you can't afford the $12 K for health insurance, you are just a lazy poor person who does not deserve health care. That is the sad state of these people who call themselves "Christian".

When I saw sicko I wanted to get the **** out of America and move to Norway. There are a ton of very serious things wrong with this country, but somehow they're able to be swept under the rug. I have no idea how. But the healthcare situation is absolutely appalling. My aunt died a few months ago from liver failure because she didn't have health insurance and couldn't afford a liver transplant. It's all so terribly disturbing.
