It's a question of where. Racism is alive and well in places like southern USA.

In 2001, Alabama's senate overturned a law banning interracial marriage. The vote was 60-40.., meaning 40 senators voted to keep the law on the books. It's less noticable elsewhere. If you go to new york, I can guarantee people of arabic and indian descent are singled out for "random" searches.

Then there are countries which have entirely different laws for people of different descent, or countries which have a state religion (israel, iran)

groups.More subtle groups use coded language to hide their racism.

racism seriously still does exist. even though it may seem like someone is joking by calling someone else a racist name it is still racism, or on tv when they think they are being funny making fun of black or white people they are being racist too. so racism definitly still does exist...

Plenty. We even punish ourselves to the point that we are born racist and teach our children we are racist and must let everyone else first.
