The problem is... if the illegals don't contribute their fair share of taxes (city, county, state, and federal) that fund the schools, yet have 2-3-4+ children in school.... who pays for those kids? Where does the money come from to educate the children of people who don't, through deductions to their paychecks in the form of taxes, financial support the very school school district they demand their children be allowed to attend? If there are, for example, an additional 200 children in school whose parents (because they don't have jobs and/or work for under-the-table cash) aren't paying into the system, how will the school district survive? Who comes up with the extra money needed to educate those 200 kids with more classrooms, books, teachers (bilingual teachers, too!), supplies...?

Now, this has nothing to do with being a Christian or racist or any of that garbage. This is a very logical, rational question as it pertains to the survival of the school district. If the illegals do not contribute, yet their kids take the benefit, eventually, the school will become bankrupt. It's just common business sense.

The same scenario applies to the health care system, which is why 1 out of 6 ER's in California have closed.

So, rather than judge other people, as you're doing now, please offer a solution to the pending crisis. Thanks.

I'm not a Christian and I DO NOT want those ILLEGAL immigrants to get their dirty hands on our money. What the hell are they doing for us besides wasting out tax dollars and BREAKING the law? Why should we pay for their criminal lifestyle??

Why am I upset? I'm tired of getting such a large chunk of my paycheck getting taken out. Those people have NO right to be here. If they want our tax dollars, then they have to contribute by being LEGAL, LAW ABIDING citizens who pay taxes as well.

They are not judged but the fact is it is tax dollars that pay for free education and health care. If you do not come to this country legally you can not register to receive these benefits. Come to the Country legally, pay taxes and then sign up for any benefits you need. Our country would go bankrupt if we gave out all of our services for free to anyone from anywhere.

How on Earth do you think America has money to provide these services? TAX DOLLARS! All of the people that come here illegally and work aren't paying taxes. I say how dare people come here expect not to pay taxes yet want the services our country has to offer.

As long as working illegals pay taxes - I have no problem with this. However, they work for cash, and use our tax dollars to their benefit. This is not fair. Everybody should contribute, so everybody can get something out of it. Jesus has nothing to do with this.

Not only do illegal immigrants get the money we could be using for ed. and health care, but it seems to go everywhere else...I live in Alaska and the situation is horrifying. We give out $50,000 checks to the natives who crowd the streets, are homeless, and spend the money on booze and drugs. They get free health care and college and their rent paid. Is affirmative action really motivating people to do better in life or harming them by allowing them to sit on their asses?

No , Not shame on me, but shame on you !!! Anytime illegal emmigrants come to any country and that also means other then America, there is no way you can get all the luxuries, that you would like. Why is it that you think people need to fully depend on our Government to help them survive ? When my Ancestors came here from Norway, they had to find and do for themselves. Luck was there were relatives who had came before , so they had a PLAN and a destination, to go to. My Great-Grandparents, had to travel South from Canada once they got off the old ship and they kept going South until they found a suitable place. It was in a valley with a rock ledge overhang. There they lived with their six children. Put logs around the rock ledge to protect them from the rain and wind. They hunted for meat and did all they could to survive off the land. The illegal emmigrants nowdays, depend on our people and agencys to help them. Well my Ancestors were not illegal. Don't judge us in this Great Country. We are Christians and this America is built on a Christian foundation. Jesus Loves all of Us. But he too put us on this Earth to be self suficient. He gave us the ability to do for ourselves. It is wonderful to help others and tremedous help , has been given to the needy. But there is a difference, in the country, between Legal and Illegal. The word is LEGAL, not ILLEGAL !!!! We are not evil, we are good and have helped many.

Do you realize that providing healthcar/education for millions of illegal immigrants would create a HUGE budget crisis in this country. The defecit is big enough as it is. Illegal immigrants come here for a better life, not to survive. If they come here by legal means then I'm more than happy to share America's tax dollars.

OK first of all we don't think being American is a requirement to receive basic human rights. I do require an American citizen be the one who receives the benefits of MY tax dollars. If you want to be here to better yourself fine, just do it the right way. If you can't do it the right way than don't bother coming. Because just like they need help, so do actual citizens. And in every other country in the world you have to be a citizen or have to have the proper papers to receive their benefits, so why is it you people judge us so harshly. I love to see you go to another country and demand for them to pay for your medical and education, then tell them that you don't even have the papers to be here but your going to demand this of them anyway. It will not happen So stop acting like we are the evil people of the world, we just want you to do it right.

As far as Jesus not knowing about status you obviously have never read your whole bible cause it talks about "aliens" coming into Jerusalem. Get a clue.

I'm a American Christian,but you do have to think ahead to overcrowding,sitting in the emergency room for 5 hours,sitting in grid lock on the hwy. housing shortage,overcrowded schools,standing in long lines at banks, stores,post offices, then that terrible drought hits,and there's no water,and the aliens are still coming,if we stop it now we survive,otherwise~~~~~~~.

After reading back on your previous questions,I can see why education and health care for our own children isn't as important as providing it for criminals who cross our border.No children yourself,huh.
Why should our tax dollar provide these services for anyone but our own citizens.My sons school has had to cut programs to find the money to provide special classes for those who are here and refuse to learn the language of the country the are ILLEGALLY living in.Can he live without art class..sure,but why should he have to?My tax dollar paid for him to have the privilege of taking that class if he wants to. I don't get free health care,why should they?I am disabled and still have to pay my own insurance,prescriptions.Not to mention paying for my own housing and food.So,if that makes me EVIL,then I guess that's what I am.We need to take care of our own people first.

I agree 100% with you...you are not a very good christian if you deny basic human rights to people who need them. Wish more people felt like you.

That said, there are plenty of us NON-christians who understand that a certain amount of resources can only go so far. We CANNOT feed and school the world's hungry and poor. We are a caring nation that does help out, but we cannot open our doors and say "come one come all".

It's not that we don't want to help, but we can't afford to help EVERYONE!! It is already affecting the quality of schooling, healthcare and law enforcement that our citizens get. If we continue to squander our resources at the rate that the rest of the world needs them, we won't be a very desirable country to live in much longer. That's one solution to our immigration problem. Go broke and then NO ONE will want to come.

I completely agree with you, that we should want to help those in need. But we can't when it's costing you and your family those same basic rights in the end.

I admire your selflessness, I really do, but the logical egghead in me says that our limited resources should really be put to help our own poor.

As for the my tax money, it should go for the legal citizens of this country and not the illegal ones. The key word here is ILLEGAL. ummm, Americans don't deny education, health care, and housing...even to people who aren't citizens of this country...we have no need to be ashamed, because we do the right thing here and that gets taken advantage of.

And many Americans would question your point about being a good Christian as we have the freedom here to be a part of any religion we choose.

Illegal is Illegal and I should not have to bear the cost of for their education. I have to pay for my own health care and education so why should they get it free? If you want to pay for it post your address and we will send them to you. And speaking of who has the right to judge them, what or who gives you the right to judge Americans?
